At first, I assumed this was at the well-known Pukis Kota Baru, which has branches around numerous cities. It turns out that they have no branches and that this is the original. They were still setting up the stall and cooking the first batch of pukis when I arrived around 2.30 PM. Incredibly pleased with how they operate one Aki (Chinese old man) and the other employees, all, keep their stainless desk areas spotless and the floor was washed with 'karbol', there were no eggshells or garbage in the area. The pukis are delicious right out of the pan they're fluffy, soft, and perfect. The batter rises just right—it's neither dense nor overly sugary, though the chocolate sprinkle topping may overwhelm you. For those who are unfamiliar, pukis are similar to packages, but the pan form is more like a muffin/moon shape, resulting in a half-cup cake-shaped pancake.
