We’ve tried several places in Pemuteran over the few days we’ve been here, and this is the best by far. The ribs were my favorite — very well cooked with an unexpected and delicious take on BBQ sauce. We also had the crispy pork belly, which was just the right balance of crunchy and fatty without being chewy. The spiced fish in a banana leaf was also very good — a touch dry but perfect with their tomato-onion sauce, which was so tasty I asked for a second. And their “pizza quesadilla” was certainly not traditional to any culture but was surprisingly good. The only challenging aspect is being right on the noisy main road, but that is true of most restaurants in town. Service was excellent, delivered with a smile, and they even gave me a scooter ride back to our villa to get cash for payment. (They didn’t take cards as of this writing.) I’ll definitely be back :)
