There’s nothing soba-ey about abura soba. At least not in the sense of tradiotional brown buckwheat noodles that you dip in that brown sauce. This one looks almost like udon, and you put vinegar and oil before you eath them. But that’s not the only menu that they have. I love their menma (bamboo shoots) dish and smash-your-own potato salad which is very satisfying to make especially if you’re mad.
