The people of Medit apparently love their Ujung Pandang style noodles. There are actually 2 of them within same apartment complex..Bakmi Bintang Gading (BBG) and Bakmi Gading Permai (BGP).. yep.. even the name is similar. Both are equally good. The most apparent difference is with the topping. BBG uses crispy pok and thick cuts of charsiu, while BGP uses thinly slice of charsiu. I will say BBG has a bigger space and more varieties for topping and menu (you can add lapcheong), and you can order dimsum there. While BGP has slightly better quality of ingredients. Also, BGP is cleaner and a bit more modern.
