I visited Rumah Makan Family Benteng with my family and we were disappointed by the food and service. The Ayam Pop was dry and bland, the Ayam Bakar was greasy and overcooked, the Ayam Gulai was watery and lacked flavor, the Usus and Dendeng Kering was hard and chewy. The rendang was not available at our visit, which was a shame because we were craving for some spicy meat. The staff was not very friendly or helpful. The price of Rp 50.000 for the rice seemed too high for the quality of the food. We felt cheated and dissatisfied with our meal. I do not recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy a good meal at a reasonable price.
