This place is the pioneer of ayam pop as we know now. The interior of this place feels like you are visiting an older relatives with how vintage everything looks. + The ayam pop is sweet, savory, and fragrant due to the coconut oil they fried their chicken in. + The sambal is pretty spicy for a tomato based condiment. + The view of this restaurant is amazing. You can see jam gadang from this place. + The toilet is surprisingly really clean. + The staff is pretty friendly. + They also served another delicacy of Bukittinggi which is Ampiang Dadiah (Local yogurt made of buffalo milk served with fermented black sticky rice and poured with brown sugar syrup). + The restaurant can also be accessed from fort de kock. - The parking lot is small. - The price point is pretty expensive (210k for 4 portion of ayam pop, 1 egg, 1 ampiang dadiah)
