Echigoya 'used to' be a place that is easy to recommend. Used to is the key word. But now the quality has been inconsistent. Not to the point where you regret eating here, but definitely not good enough to put this place among the top tier of ramen resto in Jakarta. It saddens me tbh, I have been eating for quite a long time and these ramens don't disappoint. But last time I get there the soup has been lacking in depth. The complexity of umami taste that makes the ramen so good was not there. I will definitely revisit, just because I hope it was merely a lapse in quality control.
