TLDR: Good food with excellent service and proper place. A bit hard to find if you never go there before. Background: So, me and my friend booked a place for a Tuna Sushi show on the October of 2023. The guy performing the tuna-cutting (he calls himself a fishmonger) is really friendly and perform interactivelly with all customers. He is a japanese who can speak japanese (obviously) and also surprisingly really good bahasa Indonesia. Although his dad jokes could do some more work, overall, him and his crew are really friendly and entertaining throughout the whole performance. (will talk about the food review below) Service: The waiters, chefs and all staffs are really friendly and helpful. They even try to find a paracetamol which I ordered since a friend of mind was having a mild headache (unfortunately to no avail). Food: The tuna which was cut then served right away in many style (sashimi, sushi, grilled, soup, you name it! ). Since it was fresh, the taste of tuna sashimi was sooo nice! My favourite cut was the chutoro and jaws (not the shark movie one!) There is also auctions during the performance (basically they will offer you parts of the tuna, especially the rare ones, and if you are lucky you will get it. Pro tip: offer a beer to the fishmonger and you'll easily get the good part of the tuna), which adds to the warm and friendly atmosphere. During the show you are still able to order the normal menu. The agedashi tofu is really nice unagi sushi is delish and relatively cheap compared to other sushi restaurant, and other sushi/gunkan dishes we ordered are also really nice and affordable. Overall, will definitely come back to this place during regular nights and perhaps for a second round of the tuna-cutting show. Definitely recommended!
