I am here to try their JDW 2024 menu, Pistachio Cannoli, and will just focus solely on this menu only. When I go for a food hunt, I always try to be mentally prepared and expect the unexpected. Like how this place did it. Initially when I saw the photos on the Instagram it shows that it serves 2 pieces. However, moment of truth it is only 1 piece. Not a big deal I supposed, but still, a rocky start there. Moving forward, the presentation looks okay. But then the cannoli shell that “mirrors the rugged strength of tree bark” is a thin fragile layer of fried wanton skin. Just a light tap on the shell is enough to shatter it all. I was expecting a slightly thicker crunchy pastry to be honest. Moreover, I can’t help but to look at the description on the menu again after my first bite. Funny there isn’t any word of lemon but lemon flavor from the creamy filling was the first thing that dominated my taste buds. Only after you try hard enough, you’ll find that pistachio nuttiness. Twas a trully confusing journey from start till end. Price is IDR 45.000++ ehe.
