I heard a lot of positive reviews of this place and I know that this place is always crowded. We waited for around 30 minutes before we got seated and I hope it was worth my time. Ordered their original tonkotsu ramen and karaage. I was so hungry I forgot to take the photo of the ramen. I slurped right in and was a bit disappointed. Tried for the second slurp and was still not get why people love their ramen so much. For me, the noodle was great but the broth was bland despite being so thick. I also didn’t like the floating pork fat on the broth. Don’t get me wrong, I love thick and rich broth, but I don’t like it when it’s just thick without any flavour. It was like just slurping oil. The pork chashu was tender though. Okay enough about the ramen, now the karaage. Turned out that the karaage was splendid. It was crunchy on the outside, tender and juicy in the inside. I love the doneness of the karaage. The seasoning was on point too, not too much ginger. Overall it was an okay experience, would love to go back just for the karaage. But would I wait around 30 minutes just for karaage? Maybe not.
