The name Hop Hop The Bubble Drink itself emerged after going through various alternative names such as Bubba, Bubble Tea, Bubble King which were tried before. Finally decided on the name Hop Hop because the bubbles are springy and seem to be able to jump up and down. The first Hop Hop outlet was opened at Pasaraya Grande, Jakarta, on the basement floor.
