Curious to try out this hype butadon restaurant. The queue wasn't too bad for weekend. The waiting time was around 30 minutes. Ordered their large butadon to share and buta ramen. On first glance, both butadon looked appetizing and glistening. The rice on the butadon was too mushy for my liking, it was like 10 minutes away from being porride. The pork was tender and the fat melts in your mouth. The seasoning was sweet and you can taste the char on the outside. At first I enjoyed it, but after eating it for a while, I felt a bit overwhelmed by the sweetness. The pork tasted like pork chinese sausage (lapcheong) over time, and unfortunately I'm not a big fan of lapcheong. The ramen in the other hand was heavenly. The texture was curly and al dente, perfectly captured all the ramen seasoning. The ramen was the one that helped me finish all the pork. Overall, still a quite good experience and would love to come back just to eat the ramen alone.
