Been craving for thick-skinned dumpling with juicy fillings, so when this place is opened in Puri Indah Mall, I was excited to try it out. Ordered their beef noodle and the dumplings. The noodle was straight and a bit thicker than ramen noodle. It was chewy but over time, it was a bit soggy, maybe because I’m a slow eater. The broth was beefy, flavourful and has the perfect amount of salt. I don’t know why this broth reminds me of an Indonesian broth dish, but it’s hard to name it specifically. The beef was tender and completed the dish nicely. For me, the first half of the eating experience was good, but over time this dish became a bit boring. Maybe a dash of cilantro can save it? While the dumpling was thick-skinned yet juicy on the inside. The cumin in the beef seasoning was on point. The dumpling’s thick skin and the generous stuffing complement each other perfectly. Overall still a nice dining experience. Maybe I’d go back for the dumplings.
