A safe option to dine with your family. Ordered the sweet & sour chicken, longan crispy beef, granny mapo tofu and belachan chicken. The sweet & sour sauce was more sweet than sour but it coated the chicken nicely. The chicken was so crispy inside out but I kinda like it. I kinda wish the dish to be more saucy and sour. The beef was truly crispy inside out. But, the sauce lacks complexity, I could only taste the sweetness on the sauce. The longan didn't disappoint though. The mapo tofu sauce was too gingery for me. It was not spicy at all, I kinda expected it to be spicy. The tofu was silky though. Lastly, the belanchan chicken. It was crispy on the outside but tender and juicy inside. It was flavourful and perfectly seasoned too. This dish was quite good compared to the other. Overall, it was just an okay experience and not too memorable.
