Wow. The food here did not disappoint. After reading about it online I made a special stop on our way from airport. I have coeliac and alot of there menu is Gluten Free. Quick response from their team via Facebook and everything ready on arrival. If you are Gluten Free or not, eating here when you visit Bali is a must! Cheesy Garlic Bread, Satay and Mi Goreng all delicious. Kids had gluten free Pizza which has been their favourite so far. For $36nzd we feed the whole family.Read less

Visited tonight for dinner, cocktails and drinks and watch the AFL We arrived and requested a well placed vacant table (I have a permanent neck injury) and were told that it was only available for a group of four... Fair enough, so we were offered a less convenient placed alternative.. Edit: For clarity of others reading this The couple that requested the table we wanted said it was for 2... Absolutely not 4. this prompted our disappointment and subsequent review. The owner was fully aware we wanted to discuss last night, we asked the staff, who spoke excellent English, and we saw the response was give me 5 minutes. We actually heard your response.. After 20mins ( a full quarter of AFL) finishing entrees and drinks, it was obvious that we weren't going to be able to share the feedback, hence the review.. We have frequented this place for many years including under previous ownership of Grant, Bene lane cafe. The food is always good and this issue wasn't the staffs fault, the staff told us they were under direction from the owner. Congratulations on the family engagement, but as guests, please don't be dismissive of our feedback and what actually took place. We appreciate the offer of further discussion, but you declined our offer already. It would also appear that any other negative feedback from previous reviews has been similarly dismissed. Please use negative feedback as an opportunity for future business improvement, as it is, in our case, that was the intended purpose. Thankyou and all the best for the future. We graciously accepted this and before we even sat down, a couple (2 people) behind us requested the same table as we tried, and were seated without question. I queried with the waiting staff and the response was that it was the owners instruction. Given the owner was at the venue seated only a few metres away, I politely asked staff if she was available to chat so we could share some feedback on our experience. We could see the request relayed to her by the staff. We waited for 20mins, enough time to have some snacks and a drink each. Still no owner. She was more interested in sitting socially with friends/family and ducking in and out of the kitchen. Eventually we decided, given this experience and lack of interest to protect the customer service, to leave. Food and staff are amazing 👏 10/10

We had heard all about Pad on Bene from other reviewers and we had visited during our previous visit in February. This time we had many meals there and I wanted to let everyone know how good the food was. We had most dinners here, and we loved the grilled fish with mash potato. It was always cooked perfectly with crispy edges and moist centre. I also had chicken skewers and they were the best I have ever had - in Bali or anywhere. I grew to trust this restaurant so asked them if they could source lobster - they did and it was fabulous! The prices are very reasonable for food and drinks and the service is exceptional. Thanks to Dan and Ali for their courtesy and their company. We are going back to Bali in August and we are selecting a nearby hotel so we can dine there every night!Read less

I have been going to this restaurant for many years since way before Covid....I have NEVER had a complaint to make about any meal from steak to fish everything is perfect, friendly staff meals are prepared a presented well batter on the fish is light and crispy....the steak cuts like butter, staff are very polite and helpful no matter where I go out to eat they can't top The Pad it's awesome👌Read less

Tonight I chose Beef Schnitzel, I was brasing for disappointment, but it was as I said earlier fantastic, tender, with amazing crumbing. Absolutely delicious!!!! First time visit had eggs and avo with dragonfruit smoothie. Second time garlic prawns with a mango smoothie. Amazing will come back next trip here👏
