Perfect place to get a Dutch fix. The restaurant is situated in an streamline modern house, with furniture that will make a collector jealous and historic embellishments that will make an architect weak in the knees. A bit out of the way for foreigners (35min away from Monument) but then again traffic is weird in all of Jkt. Food wise: Frozen cappuccino 4.5/5 (ice could be shaved finer), flat white 4/5. Bitterballen 2/5 (too bad it's not pork or lamb, did not feel authentic somehow) Pannenkoek 4.5/5. You cant go wrong with this. Only that again shame that there's no spek/bacon 😫 Spinach stamppot 4.5/5 (as a whole, really nice spinach mash. Sausages were good and sauce tasty. Poffertjes 5/5 (my Dutch partner and I thought it was better than in Holland. It was mildly undercooked inside which made it awesome. They have a cinnamon and powdered sugar mix which was also a surprise. In Holland it tends to be dry and overcooked, and came with regular icing sugar. Would come back.
