Very impressive Dutch style restaurant, I think the best way to approach this place as a first timer is to order one only for each most popular dishes so you can avoid overeating because the steak pieces are quite generous and the overall dish is already filling. I had Hollandse Biefstuk, Wienerschnitzel, and Bitterballen. Generally they ask you what kind of potato sides that are available and you wanna go with, for me and my family we had wedges and mashed potatoes. For Hollandse Biefstuk, they also ask you your preferred doneness. We had one that’s medium well and one that is well done, both are very good and not tough. If you prefer smoother texture, you’ll like medium well and if you like a much more chewy texture well done is good for you. As for Wienerschnitzel, I think it’s a bit more salty compared to the steak but it’s worth trying. Bitterballen is very nice too, perfect for sharing. Overall very good place, especially for special occasions and dates. On peak hours you might have to wait and struggle with parking, but in my experience waiting list didn’t take that long but it depends on how long other guests spend their dining time too.
