Used to be a favourite but it has gone downhill recently. I’m not sure if this place changed hands recently, but there have been a few changes that I think have really detracted from the the charm and very successful atmosphere it used to have. They got rid of a tree in the middle of the space, took away a nice shelf for the water and added unnecessary cushions and and an ugly cafeteria-style plastic try for cutlery in front of the bar. The music they playing is absolutely terrible, just some low-quality pop music. They used to have an awesome playlist that really fit the vibe. It’s still a good place and has been a favourite of mine since 2020, but I hope they can bring back that attention to detail that took it from good to great.
