Butteria is definitely one of the best patisseries in town. I love their pastries, tiramisu and hot chocolate. Two of my favourites are the classic croissant au beurre and the pistachio berry. The outer part was crispy, the croissant layers were visible and when you take a bite it is soft and buttery inside. Pistachio and berry are match made in heaven. The pistachio was intense but not too much because the acidity of the berries cut through it. Ordering tiramisu is a must too. The ladyfinger was soft but not too soggy and you can taste a hint of alcohol too (I don't know if they use alcohol or not). Creamy and not too sweet, you can taste coffee and just the perfect amount of chocolate powder. While the hot chocolate was decadent. Thick, not too sweet and chocolatey. You can add whipped cream to add more creaminess. But I prefer to eat the whip cream by itself. Definitely a must visit if you are in Central Jakarta area!
