We were looking for a recommended spot in Cikini and stumbled upon Kikugawa, a legendary Japanese restaurant established in 1969. Definitely had to give it a try! Here’s what we ordered: - Ume Set – The Yakitori stole the show, absolutely flavorful! The Sukiyaki Bowl was also fresh and tasty. Originally, the set included Sashimi, but since raw fish wasn’t available, we got an alternative that was still good (though the rice was a bit sticky). Also tried Wasabi, and wow, it was delicious! The Tempura was crispy and satisfying. - Beef Yaki Udon – A dry-style udon, almost like kwetiau. First time trying it, and it was surprisingly delicious—savory with a hint of sweetness. - Refill Ocha – As expected. - Lemon Squash – Refreshing and tangy, just right! - Ogura Ice Cream – The perfect dessert to wrap up the meal. With its old-school Japanese decor and food that’s worth every penny, this place is a must-visit at least once!
