Ah.. the very deffinition of hidden gem.. the restaurant is tuck away.. right in the middle of the city! Only locals aware of it’s existence. My fave dish is the vegetable tom yum. If you ask other Thai restaurant that you would like the have vegetable tom yum.. they will either say “no can do, Mam.” Or gave me the vegetarian/vegan version of tom yum (no shrimp paste). Not nice. Only Tamnak Thai understand how to make delicious vegetable tom yum. Slices of tofu, fresh vegetables, sour sweet and savoury broth. Yum!
