The only really spicy food we had in Bali! Without adding loads of sambal ourselves, that is. Some of the most flavorful food too! This place is interesting, because on the one hand, it has an English language menu and modern/western interior design aspects, but on the other hand, the staff doesn’t speak English and the food seems to be very authentic and doesn’t attempt to cater to tourist tastebuds (hence the picante). So I’d categorize Warung Made as not touristy but still tourist-accessible. The soup and satay were SO good!
