I had a quite high expecation of this restaurant since they got quite a lot of great reviews and always crowded on weekends. So I decided to try few of their dishes. Ordered their mongolian crispy beef, buttered prawn, hong kong bay fried rice and dan dan noodle. The beef was crispy on the outside and was a bit hard. The sauce coated the chicken nicely, it was sweet and a bit sour. The combination was perfect. The egg on the buttered prawn coated the prawns nicely, it was savoury and salty. Unfortunately it was a bit too greasy for me. The prawn was okay and was fresh. The fried rice was smokey but a little bit too oily for me too. It was perfectly seasoned. The duck slices were a let down too, it was too fatty it was hard to eat. The dan dan noodle seasoning was just sweet, no complexity at all. The chashu chicken was helping the noodle though, it was smokey and not too sweet. I feel like the food served on that day weren't able to satisfy my palette. I hope they will improve in the future.
