Was craving steak so we went to Butler's to try their steak out. Ordered the butler's steak and our gyudon. The steak was 200 grams of US prime steak with beef jus. Requested for medium doneness and the delivered. Unfortunately the steak was cold when it arrived. But at least it was still quite juicy and well-seasoned. The beef jus was great addition to the steak as it adds juiciness to the beed. On the other hand, the gyudon was better. It wasn't cold, the beef was tender and juicy. The garlic rice was perfectly seasoned and the onsen egg adds creaminess to the dish. At the end of the meal, they gave us complimentary ice cream. They used dry ice to solidify the cream, unfortunately this made the ice cream hurt my tongue, it was too harsh. Overall, it was just an okay dining experience.
