We decided to give Carbon restaurant a try after having an exceptional dining experience at Animale, the next door restaurant. However, it is fair to say that our visit to Carbon left us somewhat disappointed, but wonder if it is because we set a high bar based on our previous visit to Animale. While the restaurant's ambiance and service were pleasant, the food was unfortunately underwhelming.
