This restaurant is well known of their pork dishes, so I was curious to try. Ordered their pork belly (small size), platter belly ribs bali and nasi goreng pork knuckle. The pork belly was a bit fatty but the meat was juicy and succulent. It was perfectly seasoned. The skin was crispy and has the perfect amount of salt. Unfortunately sometimes it sticks to your teeth. Still very enjoyable though. The platter consists of the pork belly, pork ribs with balinese base genep seasoning, two sausages, chips and sambal matah. The pork ribs was quite dry but when you eat it with the base genep it was perfect. The base genep was rich of turmeric and lemongrass flavour, a bit spicy and salty. Unfortunately I don't really like the sausage. The taste was okay, but the texture of the sausage was a bit mushy even though the skin was snappy. The nasi goreng portion was enormous. It was smokey and perfectly seasoned. The amount pork knuckle was generous and not too fatty. There was a hint of sweetness from the seasoning but I don't mind. Overall a very nice dining experience. Would love to go back to try their pork knuckle, as we should preorder the knuckle a day before.
