Was so excited to try this German pancake dish. I love Yorkshire pudding, so I thought I would love this one too, since they look similar. Ordered the peanut butter and the triple cheese. The texture of both of the Dutch pancakes is crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. It was a bit chewy but very enjoyable to eat. The dough is a bit savoury, which makes it perfect for sweet toppings or savoury toppings. The peanut butter pancake was accompanied by one scoop of vanilla ice cream and almond shavings. The amount of sweetness was perfect, it was not overly sweet. The peanut butter and the pancake dough combined nicely. On the other hand, the triple cheese was a bit disappointing for me. I would love the cheese to be saltier and savoury. It was a bit sweet I don’t know why. But the cheese was melty and stretchy. Overall, it was a nice dining experience and would like to go back to explore more.
