KLTR is one of our go to date night spots. I don't drink coffee, but my partner does, and he said their coffee is always great. Not only they serve coffee for coffee enthusiasts, but they put a lot of effort and consideration to their food. Two of our favourites are their Chicken Parmigiana and Chicken Gravy. The chicken in the Chicken Parmigiana dish was not too thick nor too thin, it was just the right thickness. The batter outside wasn't soggy even though it was slathered with generous amount of perfectly seasoned tomato marinara sauce. It was still crispy until the last bite. The generous amount of torched mozzarella cheese on top of the chicken and marinara sauce was the cherry on top. Fries also fried nicely, not greasy and perfectly seasoned. Same with the parm, the chicken gravy was also not too thick nor too thin. The batter was more flavourful than the parm, as it was seasoned with more blackpepper. The gravy was very satisfying, smooth texture, shiny finish, not overseasoned and creamy. The mashed potato was very smooth, I didn't find any lumps in it and it was very perfectly seasoned. I usually find the mashed potato to be under seasoned I have to add more salt to the mixture. We were very satisfied after every our visit to this café. We also love their Beef Yakimeshi, Nasi Dori and their famous tiramisu. We love their ambiance and their very kind service. Such a perfect combination: good food, good ambience, good service.
