Was craving for some miso ramen, so I ordered the Marutama Miso Ramen, Pork Cheese Kooroke, and chicken karaage. The ramen was topped with three thinly sliced pork chasu, a heap of nori and negi. The miso broth was perfectly balanced, not too overpowered by the miso paste. The pork chasu was not too fatty yet it melts in your mouth. But as I'm finishing the ramen, I feel the broth tastes similar to swikee (an Indonesian fermented soybean based frog leg soup). Still a solid bowl of ramen though. The pork kooroke was crispy with cheese oozing out of the kooroke. But the amount of the minced pork was too little. I was hoping for more. Chicken karaage was a nice addition, it was crispy and flavourful. One of the best karaage I've ever tasted.
