If I'm craving waffle or just want to eat proper pasta, Pancious is on my mind. Been going to Pancious since I was in high school. Their waffle is one of the best waffles in Jakarta, while their pasta never fails to satisfy my palette. My favourites are: Carbonara Fetucinne, Hot Tuna Penne, Melted Mozzarella Cheese Fried Chicken Waffle and Chicken & Mushroom Waffle. The carbonara pasta was creamy and perfectly seasoned. Although I didn't taste the yolk enough, but the taste was comforting. The pasta was al dente too. While the hot tuna penne was perfection. The tuna chunks was generous and the amount of heat was perfect. The tomato chunks balanced the saltiness and spiciness of the hot tuna. The penne was al dente too. The waffle never disappoints, it's always bouncy and airy. It's never too dense nor soggy. The toppings always complement the waffle nicely. The fried chicken was crispy even though it was topped with melted mozzarella cheese. It was perfectly seasoned too. While the chicken in the chicken & mushroom waffle was tender and juicy. The mushroom was earthy and the creaminess of the sauce complemented the toppings nicely. Sadly, their prices are a bit on the higher side now. If they keep their quality up, I'll still visit Pancious anyway.
