It’s such a lovely space with a good selection of tea and tea ware. Such a shame that they seem to always find a way to make things difficult for customers—you can only smell 3 teas in the shop (arbitrary limit), cannot buy a single serving to try at home (you have to drink it there), can’t get up to look at teaware on the shelf, don’t even think about getting to sample a tea here without paying for it 😆 Not to mention prices are quite high. I always walk in with high hopes, appreciating the elegance of the place, but unfortunately the vibe they give off is quite snobby and unwelcoming. Especially compared to other lovely tea shops in town that warmly welcome customers. I spend far more at their competitors because they make it a pleasure to visit their shop, unlike ArtTeas.
